Scrivella
Subscription & Billing Terms.
These terms explain recurring monthly billing, transcription entitlement, plan changes, cancellation, failed payments and refunds.
1. Paid plans.
Scrivella Version 1 offers the following monthly plans:
Starter: USD 9.95 per month with 250 transcription minutes.
Standard: USD 19.95 per month with 750 transcription minutes.
Pro: USD 39.95 per month with 1,500 transcription minutes.
The advertised USD prices are the final subscription prices under Scrivella's pricing policy and include any applicable transaction tax rather than adding tax above the advertised price.
2. Automatic monthly renewal.
Paid plans renew automatically each month until cancelled.
Your first paid billing date is the date on which the subscription payment succeeds. Stripe's billing cycle determines subsequent monthly renewal dates.
3. Paid transcription entitlement.
Paid minutes are granted only after successful payment.
Unused normal monthly paid minutes expire at the end of the applicable paid cycle and do not ordinarily roll over.
Version 1 does not automatically bill overages. If you run out of available minutes, you must wait for an eligible renewal or move to a higher plan.
4. Upgrades.
An upgrade to a higher plan begins a new monthly billing cycle after successful upgrade payment.
Scrivella charges the full monthly price of the new plan and does not use Stripe proration for the approved Version 1 upgrade process.
Unused paid minutes from the previous plan carry into the new upgrade cycle and are added to the full allowance of the new plan.
5. Downgrades.
A downgrade to a lower plan is scheduled for the next renewal.
Your current plan remains active for the remainder of the current paid cycle. When the lower plan begins, the new cycle receives the allowance for the lower plan and unused old-cycle paid minutes do not carry forward.
6. Cancellation.
Customer-requested cancellation is controlled through Scrivella Account and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
You may continue using the remaining paid entitlement until the effective cancellation date, subject to payment status. Unused paid minutes expire when the paid subscription ends.
You may reactivate a scheduled cancellation before it becomes effective.
If you later start another paid subscription after the previous subscription has ended, the original one-time 30-minute free entitlement does not reset.
7. Failed payments.
If a renewal payment fails, the subscription may enter Past Due immediately. New transcription processing is blocked while payment action is required.
Stripe may retry payment according to the retry settings configured for Scrivella. New monthly paid entitlement is not granted until a qualifying payment succeeds.
If payment recovery is unsuccessful and the subscription reaches its terminal state, the paid subscription is cancelled.
8. Payment methods and Stripe.
Scrivella Version 1 accepts supported major debit and credit cards through Stripe.
Stripe securely handles payment-card details and payment authentication. Scrivella Account links to Stripe's secure Customer Portal where payment-method or supported billing details can be updated.
9. Invoices and tax information.
Stripe invoices are the official Scrivella billing documents. Scrivella may display invoice history and links to official Stripe invoice documents inside Account.
Transaction tax depends on customer location, applicable registrations and tax rules. Scrivella's advertised subscription price remains the final subscription price under the approved tax-inclusive pricing model.
10. Refunds and corrections.
Monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable for change of mind.
This does not exclude a refund, replacement or other remedy that is required by applicable law.
Scrivella may also provide an approved corrective refund in cases such as a confirmed duplicate payment or another authorised billing correction.
11. Fraud, disputes and chargebacks.
Scrivella and Stripe may apply fraud-prevention, payment-risk and dispute controls. Payments blocked or declined by Stripe do not create paid transcription entitlement.
A serious fraud warning, dispute or chargeback may result in paid processing being restricted while the matter is reviewed.
12. Future plan or price changes.
Scrivella may change plans, allowances or pricing in the future. Where a change affects an existing recurring subscription, Scrivella will provide notice or renewed acceptance where required before the change takes effect.
13. Other Terms.
These Subscription & Billing Terms form part of the broader Scrivella Terms of Service.
Personal information associated with billing is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
